Eclipses have dazzled and mostly terrified humans since the first time we looked up and experienced this phenomenon. But, eclipses are a very, very important part of the overall cycles of Light and ShadowWeRK. 

It's pretty Magical that when The Sun, The Moon, and The Earth line up they are perfectly sized to block each other out. This gives us the opportunity to be fully disconnected from these energies throughout the cycle. And, it's so important for us to remember the value of being disconnected. 

Eclipses also show us the value of chaos and change. That's what Eclipses bring too. They invite in the strangest changes and the most disruptive chaos. The remove the stuckness and the blocks that we often don't even see until the GTFO of our way.

Eclipse energy is unpredictable and unreliable so it's best to try to avoid their beams. This is not a time for Magic or putting your self out there. Instead, stay out of their way and use this time to go deep within.

The Lunar Nodes in Aries & Libra | 2023 -2025

Even though we will have a hybrid eclipse in Aries on April 19th, 2023 the Lunar Nodes don't fully move into Aries and Libra until July 18, 2023. This movement will be bringing the Eclipses to the Signs of Action and Balance, Social Justing in Action, and The Self vs. The Other. 

• The initial peek into this new cycle will occur on April 19th and October 14th, 2023.
• The first full set of Eclipses in Aries and LIbra will be on March 25th and April 8th, 2024.
• The last round will occur on October 2nd, 2024 and March 29th, 2025. 

It's time to look at your Aries & Libra Houses and Planetary Placements. 

• Where are these two Signs falling in your chart? 
• What Planets or Points do you have in this part of your chart? 
• Do you know your WeRK in this polarity or do you still need to spend some time thinking about it? 

Luckily we're gonna get a chance to peek inside this Eclipse Portal on 04/19/2023 when this first hybrid eclipse happens at 29º50' of Aries. 

Aries is the sign of initiation, passion, action & protection. It wants everyone to be safe and allowed to be whatever they want to be. Its Shadow is being impatient, reactionary, self-obsessed, and impulsive. Its strengths are bravery, strength, vulnerability, and an immeasurable love for those who need help. 

Libra is the sign of relating, balance, justice, beauty, and art. It wants everyone to be surrounded by beauty, love, and luxury AND it hates anything that's sideways or irregular. Its Shadow is being a perfectionist, too materialistic, passive (or even passive-aggressive), co-dependent, and obsessed with other people's business.

The dualities of these two Signs will be what's up for us, both individually and collectively. The best way for you to prepare is to look at all the ways you're dealing with your inner dualities in this part of your chart. 

This is why it's so important to consider the Houses that hold your Aries/Libra energy. That's where you'll find the nuances & subtle ways this cycle will connect to you and your life. 

If you're ready to take this lesson to the next level you can start looking back at past cycles of the Eclipses. 

Look back at the last time the Nodes were in the same signs OR in the opposite times. You may see similar issues or patterns of losing and gaining big thangs in your life when the Nodes are in the same signs again. This is called the Return. This may be magnified if you also have your Natal Nodes in Aries and Libra. 

You can also look back at the last time the Nodes were in the opposite sign as they are this time. What was going on for you during this period? Is it similar to the Return period? Is it literally the opposite? This is called the Opposition. 

Spending time examining these cycles can really help you better prepare for how Eclipse cycles may show up for you AND they may not. Never forget that Eclipses are unpredictable as fuck and the best bet is always to just pull back and rest.Sometimes that is the only thing we can do.
