Welcome Friends to the first week of Pisces Season! Let's get in this pool and splash around a bit, shall we??
I hope you make the best of this quiet week because last week was a fucking lot and the rest of Pisces Season has a fucking lot going on too. Not to say that it's all negative (do I ever say that?!?! nope!) but it's just a lot of energy in the Mutable Signs and we struggle with that shit.
Why?
Because capitalism and whiteness HATE Mutable Energy.
Why?
Because Mutable Energy is where Imagination Magic is rooted. It's where we daydream, space out, take naps, and get lost. It's not productive, like Cardinal Energy. It's not stable, like Fixed Energy. It's constantly moving in and out and all around. It's chaos, mischief, shenanigans, and hilarity.
This is the part of us that these oppressive systems have worked hard to destroy. The narrative of capitalism says we're lazy, ungrateful, worthless, and even crazy if we refuse to stay in only Cardinal and Fixed Energy. It tells us that our Imagination and creativity is useless (unless we can turn it into a profit on the Social Webs).
What can you do this week to fuck that ideology up?
Can you quit loudly? Can you wander around aimlessly looking for messages from the Universe or from the Fae? Can you make space for someone with less privilege than you to do the same? Can you even fathom what that would mean?
This is the perfect weather for doing Divination of all kinds. Pull cards in trade readings with friends. Use your pendulum to decide where to go for lunch. Ask a question and then turn on the radio and listen to the next three songs for answers. Be curious about every fucking thing and get lost in some useless research because that will always lead you to serendipity. Open up space for people in your life to connect to Divination Magic too... share what you know with others.

Astrology IRL | Will SCOTUS break the Internet?
I am super interested in sharing Astrology IRL posts but not having a social platform like Mighty Network or the /M e t a v e r s e/ to share links to I've been skipping it the last few weeks. This sucks cuz there have been some doozies out here. I decided I would just start sharing them here and y'all can take a look if you wanna track these things too.
This week we have these two cases going before the Supreme[ly useless] Court and the alignment with this weeks Big Ass Transit was TOO good not to point out. Take a look at the article and think about how these decisions connect to Mercury in Aquarius Square Uranus in Taurus; and also to the longer Saturn in Aquarius Square Uranus In Taurus aspect we've been under the last few years. This one is about to end on March 7th and I predict these decisions will align with Saturn moving into Pisces... let's watch it, shall we??

Pisces Sun | PISCES MOON | 23 FEB 19 | THE NEW MOON | Time to set some big intentions around letting things come to their natural end. This seems counter to the idea that a lot of New Moon Magic expresses but think about what it would be like to be able to initiate your own endings. A good death is what we all seek but due to the ideologies we collectively have around death we often ignore the opportunities life gives us to plan for our own end. This is an excellent lunation for sitting down and planning your own memorial service. The question really is, will you?
Pisces Sun | ARIES MOON | 23 FEB 21 | The split atom exists between death & life. When you're almost born or almost dead but not quite yet, that's the space between these two Signs. When the light of the Pisces Sun shines on an Aries Moon we are given the gift of fully knowing that space; when you think of it what do you feel? Are you afraid, confused, anxious? Notice how you feel & why. Our typical reaction to this part of the cycle is deep fear. Why? There's big Magic here & "they" don't want us to access it. They've intentionally created the narrative that it's a scary, unknown space we should avoid. Be a big fucking rebel & lean into it instead...
Pisces Sun | TAURUS MOON | 23 FEB 24 | Immerse your SELF in your healthy coping mechanisms so you don't get swept away by something delicious but not so good for you. This Jupiter/Venus ruled energy is so sweet but it can also be like the Turkish Delight in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe; drawing you into a cycle of endlessly trying to get more of that disassociation or pain relief. Don't get too comfortable but also make your discomfort count. We need to un/reLearn the value of our personal comfort & collective care so we can realign our entire society to value both equally AND for all. This lunation offers insights on how to balance these two important thangs.
