This lunation brings us a double Venus experience that should be used to do two things: one, increase your exposure to beauty in your life and two, destroy the toxic beauty standards and expectations of whiteness. Let your body be and show your beauty thru your actions, words, AND physical expression. Let others do the same and take some time to NOTICE when your unconscious bias is excited by another person. When you are being judgemental of others and why? We all do it and when we intentionally notice it and call it out inside of our SELF we pick at the threads of a system that tries so hard to hold us all to these impossible standards and binaries. UN/RE-learning how to see others without these conditioned judgments will literally free you from this trap too. We are all so fucking beautiful and I can't wait to see us shine!

Go inside you and sit quietly with all the things you hate about your self. Pick it all apart and ask you why you feel this way. Who told you these things about you were bad, ugly or regretable? Who gave you this belief that you need to be anything other than you? Full Moon Eclipses are a time for HUGE reflection and honest reviews. This is NOT a time to release anything or to try to cast off what we don't like or want. Just notice what and why and then use this Mercury Retrograde in Taurus energy to review these narratives... it's time edit your internal stories and rewrite ones that love you as much as the Universe loves you (cuz, it fucking does!)

Whew! It's likely we all just did a lot of big WeRK! We dug into our conditioning, programming, and false inner narratives. That can be intense and so fucking challenging. This lunation arrives to remind us that humans are funny, funny, funny creatures. We deserve laughs, adventures, and shenanigans galore! In fact, there's never going to be a way that we can successfully fight the bullshit if we don't include enormous, huge, massive amounts of fun in the battle plan! This is one of the things I've learned/noticed in my anti-racism journey/WeRK... as a white person it's easy to use being overwhelmed as an excuse for not DOING more actionable shit. It's easy to say that we don't know how to make an impact. But all we have to do is acknowledge the truth that Black folx are the root for all the things we consider fun in this culture. They originate almost all the fashion, music, comedy, art, and storylines we love so fucking much. Why? Because they know what they are fighting for and it's not just equality, equity, and justice... they are also fighting for the right to fucking PARTY. So, if you're a white person this lunation really wants you to sit down and think about that. This toxic culture is also stealing true, honest fun from us all. If we just let this truth sink in we would loosen up and let our freak flags fly; because that's what we're fighting for and if the new world we want to build isn't fun then WTF are we even doing this for?

FULL MOON
The Full Moon is about reflection, rejoicing, & revelation. This Lunation is about seeing the true truths so we can rejoice in their gifts & opportunities even if they fucking suck. It’s time to honestly consider the shit we find in this part of our chart. There’s nowhere for our Shadow WeRK to hide during a Full Moon.
A Penumbral Lunar Eclipse occurs when The Moon enters the subtle, outer edge of the Earth's shadow, called the Penumbra. It's less dramatic than partial or total eclipses BUT it still has the potential to create a wee bit of chaos. This lunation can be mistaken as a regular Full Moon but It's still NOT a good time for Moon Magic.
The Moon Rituals are on hold for Taurus Season.
I can't believe it didn't register that this was an Eclipse Season Portal and no Moon Magic should be done during that window. Instead, I will create the Lunation Chart Delinations (above) and talk more about things we can do during Eclipse Cycles in the weekly video...

Let's take a little walk into the AstroAlgebra and the AstroGeography of this lunation.
BUT... let's do that remembering that, even tho it's a weak one, this is still an Eclipse and a weird lunation portal is open during Taurus Season. I don't recommend any Moon Magic during this time but I will break down this chart because we can learn a lot about Eclipses & Astrology by looking at these charts.
This is a Cancer Rising Chart so The Moon is in charge of the whole lunation. This means that even tho this eclipse is subtle The Moon is in Scorpio and therefore it's in its fall during this lunation. When The Moon moves thru Scorpio it's considered in its Fall because Scorpio can struggle with feeling safe enough to express its emotions. It can also lean into the Shadow emotions (like rage, fear, suspicion), and that can put it in a vulnerable position, especially in a society that devalues and sometimes even violently oppresses emotions.
Mars will be the ruler of The Moon in this chart so Mars' presence in Cancer creates this feedback loop about connecting to our hidden, Shadow emotions because we know there is so much power there. However, that can be very challenging and we may see more emotional "reactions" than we may want to see. Notice when folx are "feeling it" and give them space to express, even if what they share has a sting or bite to it. Maybe this is the fuel we all need to finally react appropriately to all the fucking bullshit that just keeps getting piled on top of us all...? Perhaps??
With Venus ruling The Sun in this chart we could also return to the narrative of last week's Big Ass Transit too: Healing Masculinity is something we MUST do, ASAP.
Venus is in Gemini in the 12th House in this chart and that makes me curious about the value of how we process emotions; see Gemini processing the information we take in from the subconscious messaging we receive. Since this is also occurring on Venus' Day (Friday) we can all take some time today to send some soft, gentle energy to all the men and boys in the world who are constantly and deeply harmed by living in this culture too. The collective "men" do need to be held accountable but we can choose to either hold them like the baby bunnies they really are OR we can hold them underwater until they drown. There is a choice here and as my amazing teacher and coach, Nikki Blak says; The collective suffers from a critical “lack of imagination" when it comes to change. Use your Imagination Magic to visualize a world where EVERYONE is given the freedom to just fucking be... it's not naive to spend time making space for this new world. We have to start somewhere and Imagination is often the best place.
PS: I love that this NPR article was published on April 25th, when Venus was Sextile to Chiron, a few days before the Mars Square to Chiron that I spoke about last week. It's such a good listen!

I am finally starting to feel better, which is fucking great considering this sickness has been around for over a month now. I hope you're all doing well and moving thru this Eclipse/Mercury Retrograde energy unscathed. Remember, if you're sailing thru it that means you're probably getting your opportunity to be a helper in the cycle. Remember last time you were getting all the punches from the Universe? Well, that was when you needed a helper. Be a helper where you can and do it in the most radical ways possible. If you need help, reach out. When you ask for help you are saying "fuck you" to the toxic, "grab your boot straps and work hard on your own because everyone is just trying to scam or destroy you" ideology of capitalism.
